CEASE AND DESIST NOTICE

Attention Cleveland Astronomical Society:

Your chairperson John Kirszenberg must cease and desist his cyber-harassment and defamation of character attacks of the 600 plus people he has already persecuted in the name of the Cleveland Astronomical Society.

Tim Ozman, President of the Infinite Plane Society, is a respected professional in the community and has spent their life building a positive reputation. Nevertheless, we have been informed that you have been maliciously spreading inaccurate and unfounded information that is damaging to their personal and professional character. You are also stealing and reposting entire pages from a members-only blog, which is theft and piracy.

The unauthorized reproduction or distribution of a copyrighted work is illegal. Criminal copyright infringement, including infringement without monetary gain, is investigated by the FBI and is punishable by up to five years in federal prison and a fine of $250,000. Your organization has already been reported to the FBI.

Under the laws in the State of Ohio, it is unlawful for an individual to make deliberate statements that intend to harm a person’s reputation without factual evidence or based on hearsay. You have done this to 600 plus individuals as an astronomer and scientist, on behalf of the Cleveland Astronomical Society.

The defamatory statements include, but are not limited to, the following: calling me a “swindler” a “liar” a “con man” and accused me of being “violent”, a "sexual deviant", and a “lunatic” and a “Flat Earther”.

If you do not cease all related statements and remove the infringed upon content, a defamation of character and a copyright infringement lawsuit will be commenced against you and the Cleveland Astronomical Society will be named as a Defendant. You have been reported to the Federal Bureau of Investigation Internet Crime Complaint Center (IC3).

In addition, this shall serve as a pre-suit letter demanding that you provide us written assurance within 1 day that you will cease and desist from making further factually untrue statements.

If you do not comply with this cease and desist letter within the aforementioned time-period then a lawsuit may be filed in the proper jurisdiction seeking monetary damages as well as pursuing all available legal remedies for your defamation.
